Struggling Alone in Iran with My Sick Cats
My name is Matin, 'm living in a tiny rented room in Iran with no family support. During the Iran-USA tensions, the internet got cut off badly and I lost my only income. I was working with my Twitter account but it got suspended (probably because of Iranian IP). I've been appealing for almost a month and still no answer. I have two cats that I love so much, but both have kidney disease. They need special renal food which is expensive and vet care I can't afford anymore. The room is so small I can't even talk loud. I try my best but it's getting really hard. I also have a PC that I bought back when I was working. But now I might have to sell it just to pay rent and buy food for the cats. I know taking responsibility for cats is something you should think about before getting them, but I never expected the internet to get cut like this. My whole life and work depended on it. I've been trying hard in crypto too for a while. Been in the trenches, lost more than I won especially at the beginning, and now I only have about 20 USDC left.
